To facilitate our own survival, our organizations need to be strong and resolute in the face of resistance, which will absolutely come knocking at our doors. We mustn't shirk away in cowardice, but meet the challenge, as a unified front. If an organization is unwilling to fight for its existence, if it's not willing to break its members out of jail for fallacious charges, if it's not willing to fight to the death to survive, it'll let it's own members meet the same fate, and is unworthy of support.
Hopefully, members of that group moved to more stalwart groups, with that lesson in heart.
