Its (((social media))), brainrotted degeneracy that would have been bullied out of the classroom by the other kids before the teacher even had to deal with it suddenly becomes "viral" and then everyone jumps on the trend and the voices of reason ignored because kids are especially vulnerable to (((peer pressure))), even more so than women.
