i was looking at the guns in the pawn shop today

i noticed they never have any good gold. everything is 14k or less. no 18k or 20k jewelry. They probably keep the good stuff for themselves

I'm a purist, I haven't bought any investment metal less than 999. I don't do pre-war nickels or sterling goblets or any of that. I don't count my 14k ring or 10k chain or class ring when calculating investments.
