This is definitely devils advocate territory and to be honest, a bit of a stretch, but what if… some politicians are feigning support for Israel because they know getting elected while opposed to Israel will be near impossible. And if elected will oppose Israel.

I mean, has an anti Israel politician ever been elected outside of some small local positions?

I don’t know anything about mcgregor but it’s just a thought
