You gotta wonder how many original scripts are rotting in a drawer somewhere for all this bullshit to be produced.
Films like *Casablanca, Treasure of the Sierra Madre,12 Angry Men, Shawshank Redemption,* and *North by Northwest* almost didn't get made because of know-it-all studio execs. Hollywood is dead. Now they only churn "content" on a weekly basis.
Sonic does all the common anti-White shit in its movies too. Was busy calling it out during 2, and after what 3 did to the original source, I have zero interest any longer.
Good thing I didn't pay anything but time to see 'em.
Nah they're not why the minecraft movie is doing well.
It's doing well because of the fact that it is nostalgia baiting zoomers. Isn't it interesting that the movie came back when every other 20-something is rediscovering minecraft now? They could have made it in 2015, but that wasn't a profitable time to make it. It would have bombed if it came out 10 years ago
We're moving away from nostalgia baiting millennials (Disney remakes, mario movie) and gen x (stranger things, anything set in the 80s, et al). Now we're nostalgia baiting zoomers. With the success of the minecraft movie, expect to see an outpouring of slop movies with settings from 2008-2014.
