Electric Net fencing works pretty good with chickens and it's temporary so fairly cheap. You can move them around and such. It what I use with my goats and to keep chickens out of the gardens.

For goats the netting has larger gaps. chickens you would want smaller holes like this poultry netting

Don't get the double spike option, they are awful. Single spike is better.

Otherwise just use some 4x4 cattle panels like this. https://www.cashmans.com/product/4-x-16-welded-wire-goat-panel-4-x-4-openings/

My chickens mostly run free range we just use fence to keep them away from our active gardens. Let the chickens in those areas when not in use
