mine arent really either, but the boomers as a whole did up-end some long standing traditions:

- bringing your own kids into your family business, even if it was a corporate job

- multi-generational households where the grandparents [boomers] help take care of the grandkids while the parents work and take care of the grandparents

- passing down the family home to their children

- multi-generational wealth

- staying married even when they werent 100% happy 100% of the time because raising children in a 2 parent household is the most important factor for the children's success in almost every aspect of life.

boomers on average did not do those things

the rest listed in the 4chan post boomers may have not understood the ramifications of what was happening, but they didnt object, they went along with it because it made them wealthier at the expense of their children/grandchildrens future
