One has no money at all. That one tries to get money or free work from the children.
The other one flipped out when a small problem in my life leaked over to theirs. That one thought it might cost a tiny bit of their retirement savings ( It didn't).
I've been cut out of the one with money's will and another family members because I wouldn't apologize for pointing out their terrible parenting.
I've been on my own since around 6-7 years old. I did not see them in the mornings or after school. I had to make my own breakfast and lunch. Only dinner was provided. No help with school. No push into school activities. They gave me a beater car in h.s. and paid for some college. They still hold it over my head many years later. They did not teach me a single life skill. When I confronted them with this they whined about their bad childhoods. We had a few good family vacations... they think that qualifies as being good parents
