I welcome my house price crashing. It means lower taxes, maybe. Your home value means shit if you own one home. You can’t sell it and make a profit as long as you need somewhere to live. What does the extra value do for you? Allow you to borrow money from Jews?

I recently had to explain what the housing market is like today to my mom. She's 69 years old. She honestly thought you could walk into a nice house and offer 10,000 less for it and be taken seriously. You know, like they did when the last time they bought a house in 2001.

People seriously do get set in their ways.
