I know users here don't believe they should be here in the first place to which I agree but from an optics perspective this isn't great for Trump and anti immigrant action in the US if leftists are able to effectively weaponize it. Deporting them is one thing (I'm not sure on the mechanics of it but surely it can be done without sending them to El Salvador) but sending them to the prison in El Salvador on accusations of being gang members is something that can be easily exploited and is immoral.
But also, Trump has a history of being against due process...
The next question is, what if we start sending Americans there?
It seems like you are PRO due process because you want to make a distinction that someone is a combatant. Also, did congress sign a declaration of war against the "cartels"??

"Due process" is something afforded to citizens who aren't a violent threat. Illegals get nothing.
However, we must judge each one as an individual. If one of them kills or rapes someone, that doesn't mean we can just murder them all. We have to hold trials, and we have to feed and house them until the trial. They all need lawyers and interpreters first. Also some of them could be here to claim asylum, which is a free pass to do anything you want.
Or we could just hang them.

Soldiers don't wait for an enemy to actually point their weapon at them and pull the trigger before engaging. They identify the threat and they take them out before they have a chance to do that.

They have no right to be put in front of one of our judges. They are not here legally. Our judges only have jurisdiction over people living in our country. They cannot judge people who live in foreign lands.

Cross the border illegally, and if you don't have a passport or some proof on your body that shows you are a US citizen you get hung by the neck, or your head gets put on a pike, or you get shot and sent home with a bill for the ammo and transport.
Either borders mean something or they do not. If they don't mean anything, then that means we are going to start taking over Mexican and Canadian land and planting US flags there.
