Pressing X to doubt. Battery technology is a fickle thing, and densities have been increasing over the decades. It'll probably be 2040 before EVs are truly superior. Maybe longer. Depends on how much more they can squeeze out of gas (a lot. The moment a detonating engine becomes reliable, its unironically over for EVs for the next 100 years)
