As an Editor and staff member of Encyclopedia Dramatica, which is a wiki for documenting people who are loud online, such as trolls and lolcows, I can confirm that most controversial people who flee cyberspace, especially artists, do not return.
Simp "artist" Andrew Dobson, for example.
Just because i am a staff member does not mean I am some type of tribalistic simp warrior for Encyclopedia Dramatica.
In fact, staff members are the first to admit that ED is garbage and has a lot of issues.
