I have always had problems getting girls. Idk what it is about me but they just dont like anything about who I am. My first impression usually has them running away. If I get through that then they run away after talking to me for 5 minutes. It has been like this since I got out of HS.

Its the way of the world. We only respect and admire men that perform highly and accomplish things, women are no different. You should be happy your future wife has higher standards and is attracted to your improved self and not settling for a man who accomplishes little.
