Nobody in the younger generations is dying for Israel. There was a ton of impotent patriotism after 9/11 that was directed towards Afghanistan and Iraq, but not one feels good about those wars in retrospect (in part because they were lost).
Even the kids see the rhetoric behind the forever wars and they're done. The risk now is that they will give up completely, instead of taking the weapons meant to kill for the Jews and turning them on the real enemy.
