Yes, that's the most logical. After the Civil War, the South was devastated and basically left without policing forces. So the boys gathered and took justice into their own hands and formed the KKK. It was really inevitable, it *had* to be done one way or another.
They didn't just went after niggers, but ALL criminals. But obviously niggers were extremely likely to commit crimes, so of course they went after them a lot. After a while (a century?) the KKK became irrelevant and changed its course to wear ghost hoodies and call themselves wizards, as they noticed patterns of niggers too much.
