Oh, and one more thing:

The clothing he is wearing?

The "African" clothing? The Ankara wax prints, from the Hausa people? I'm sure he knows which tribe they are from.

And that they are actually a Dutch importation. The Dutch altered an Indonesian method of dying clothing with wax - called batik - by using a Scottish roller printing method to produce the designs much cheaper. However, the Indonesian saw that the dying method was inferior and also did not imbue the scent of the wax within the cloth. So in the 1880s the Dutch brought back all of their unsold stock and dumped them in Ghana, where they became popular and persist to this day.

They are as much of an authentic African cultural heritage as Super Bowl losing team merchandise.
