The proper term for this phenomenon is actually called "Effeminacy", or the Sin of Adam. Its generally defined as the unwillingness to do the difficult things in life or endure necessary sufferings. An increasingly over-reliance on technology combined with the unraveling of any real form of social cohesion with the blatant destruction of the traditions that provided us with the necessary discipline to be real men has led to this plague being multiplied.
