God's original design is found in what he originally designed. It does not need to be explicitly stated that "This is the way god intends it to be." There is likewise no scripture stating polygamy is how god intended things to be. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I cannot recall any scripture where god is asking one of his servants to marry multiple women. It was tolerated, but not promoted.

I also did not quote timothy and titus as I already did so in the post prior to this one. The context being this is restrictions placed on those taking the lead in the christian congregation. Who are supposed to serve as an example for the rest of the congregation to follow, suggesting it is god's will to be monogamous.

We also have scriptural examples of polygamous marriages where partners were left unloved and abused by their fellow wives. Notably Leah and Rachael, Rachael being favored with Leah being more so tolerated. Or Hannah and Peninnah where Peninnah mocked Hannah. Kings David and Solomon each had their many wives and concubines, do you think any of those wives felt particularly loved and cherished by their husband?

You're already versed in this, we have scriptures that suggest monogamy is proper, we have no scriptures suggesting polygamy is the proper path of adhering to gods standards of conduct.
