So whites before Humanism and Liberalism?

Christianity actually used to teach that the wicked should not be trusted and that you cannot be friends with someone who wants to be your enemy, but the delusions of Humanism and subsequently Protestantism and Enlightenment Liberalism made whites forget that man is evil.

It’s not Protestantism, the early ones were based. The fake enlightenment of Liberalism, Humanism and the we all bleed red crowd are more at fault, because we can see the same rot take hold in the other denominations as well.

The issue with Protestantism is that it carried some grains of Liberalism and Humanism within it from the start, because rejecting that Good Works are part of the Faith inevitably results in rejecting that Repentance is Necessary for forgiveness. Luther himself obviously never intended that his poo-pooing of good works be taken to the extreme it has been (he actually spoke against some antinomians trying to co-opt the reformation), but he should have foresee that it inevitably *would be*.
