I have a goose that started laying and I'm fairly sure they are fertilized, I am currently leaving her to her own devices with the eggs though. She made a nest for them but has yet to sit on them... I forget the word. I suppose husbandry requires some human intervention. Very cool, thanks for sharing all your goat stuff ect.. Hail victory!
I got 2 non sexed goslings about 8 months ago hoping they might be a breeding pair, and blessed was I. I raised them with 2 hen chicks to help them integrate and they are excellent watchdogs for the rest of the flock and I always know when someone is in my driveway. The eggs are very large. Fun stuff.

I had 5 that made it to adulthood without going lame and dying. I think the feed I was using didn't have enough Niacin. All 5 were male. Some hook nosed owl killed 2. I bought 2 new ducklings. I hope I get an egg layer this time. I wonder if female ducklings have a higher Niacin requirement.
I give them duck food which has niacin the first 3-4 weeks then slowly switch over to my chicken mix, which is just goat food mostly. Way cheaper than chicken food...
