Our pastor spoke on Philippians 3:12 which says, "Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me."

He talked about how it means salvation is a continuing experience. We don’t just put our faith in Christ one time when we are born again and then forget it. It has to be a continual trust and dependence on Jesus's sacrifice. This is what our relationship with the Father is based on.

Our pastor spoke about how God can push you to do things that are uncomfortable, to help you grow. "If you do what you always have, you'll get what you always got."

Spoke of John 4, Jesus encountering and speaking with the Samaritan women at the well, asking for a drink and explaining Living Water to her.
BUT then during prayer petition, it was asked to pray for the jews, how they are the are the people of God’s promise and how we owe them a debt… i left shortly there after
