Happy to see it.

But the amount of publicity on it and the optics?

Stinks like jewish war in the Middle East

Not sure about how much publicity it is getting because I don't watch much propaganda, but I follow college wrestling and this is a HUGE moment. Such a monster upset because of what Steveson has done in the past. Dude hasn't lost since 2019 or something crazy, won a gold medal at the Olympics, and hadn't even been taken down all year. It was basically over in the first when Steveson got a takedown. The takedown with 20 secs to go by Wyatt was such an unbelievable moment and a difficult move to pull off. He really shouldn't have been able to turn the corner on that move, but his timing was perfect and he has insane strength and speed. It was an incredible wrestling moment. Some are calling it the greatest upset ever (but the white dude was undefeated this season as well, so not crazy because he came out of nowhere, just crazy because of the other dudes accomplishments).

Just some context. I do see your point if there is a bunch of propaganda about him being a USAF cadet, military stuff being pushed, etc.

Thanks for the context. Interesting to read.

Yeah. I my comment was more directed at the pile on. Apart from the things you mentioned that make it interesting for wrestling fans specifically, I don’t really understand how this specifically warrants all the publicity around the US flag, the president attending the event, etc.

To me that smells like a deliberate PR effort by the administration
