Wild animals don't have the benefit of medical care. They all typically choose to avoid confrontation because injuries can be fatal, unless they're hungry, threatened, or they're a borderline-invincible big ass bear.

I think this is fine. They're taking from nature, and behaving like humans who stand above the animal kingdom. And they are showing tremendous courage. They're also still in Africa, where they should be. Urban chimps should take a page from their book.
