Electric vehicles are cool in theory, but it's been shoehorned into (((their))) draconian lock down "smart" grid.

Someone sell a decent electric vehicle that doesn't have to communicate with its mothership. You push a button and it starts. There's no updates or wireless shit, no bluetooth connectivity crap... nothing.

Take a 2000 mazda protoge with all its 2000 technology, and simply make it electric.
