"College educated" is code word for "brainwashed." Brainwash is the process of making a person believe in ideological falsehoods, and turn his capability to think into rationalizing insanity and practice sophistry.

If you provide evidence to that person that contradicts and debunks his beliefs, he or she will instead double down and assume that that evidence is produced with evil intent and therefore has to be dismissed without any introspection.

In more extreme cases the very concept of logic itself is discarded, an indulgence into ignorance is promoted, and thus an immunity to reason is created.

I guarantee this poll also only polled people in certain more lefty fields too. The college I went to, while my degree ultimately ended up being useless thanks to H1Bs stealing all the STEM jobs, was mostly full of based people. Or at least it was, during COVID it started getting flooded by blacks for some reason.
