at my British school in the 80s all Indians were just called "pakis"

as in "Pack it in" ... "Pakis don't come in 10s they come in 1000s"

and "even niggers hate pakis"

I always thought pakis was short for Pakistan. As Indians and Pakistanis are pretty hard to distinguish from one another
