tl;dr: Female journalist goes to Haiti and witnesses some woman she didn't know being raped. This allegedly traumatized her so much that she decided to set up some depraved BDSM scenario to roleplay getting raped, and then wrote about this for some mainstream media rag. This still wasn't enough, so she decided to turn troon out. She then wrote a cover story for *New York Magazine* about getting a phalloplasty, and how she recovered by singing Disney songs to her new armskin fleshtube (very masculine behavior right there). Even by Clown World standards, it's absolutely bonkers that this clearly mentally ill woman was ever given a corporate media platform, let alone a career.
