Smartest kids I’ve known were home schooled. I think it’s simply because they were all very much less likely to be socially conditioned or beaten down

Imagine being taught by someone who loves you, instead of soemone who despises you.

i never considered that seething hate was what motivated my plethora of bad teachers 20 years ago. it has to be a billion times worse for government school kids today

Remember when teachers made kids put their heads down?

Do they still do that?

The whole class sometimes had to suffer because of a few kids. And those few kids might catch shit from the rest of the kids. It was a sort of communal punishment?

My parents basically unschooled me and I'm still more social and better at tests than most other people. School is literally worse than teaching kids nothing at all.

Glad I could confirm it for you. My parents taught me up to probably 2nd grade, everything after that I figured out myself for the most part.

Kids today are better off staying home all day doing absolutely nothing than what they get broken down into in public education.
