Never had any real use for them. Doesn’t even look like it’s hard to pick cotton, sadly a bunch of lazy jews were in control of most of the textile industry back then so they brought in niggers to pick cotton instead of paying Whites a reasonable wage to do it for them.

"Slavery is unethical" has the same moral foundation as "gays should marry."

In other words, it's made up.

The more I study the Bible the more I come to believe that slavery isn't necessarily evil.

The "natural order" isn't evil. It's how God created the world. Some people are simply better at being in charge and in control than others. Other people are better off having someone else worry about the important things and focusing on some minor or meaningless task. We had this idea that the animal kingdom must be wrong because the world is evil and gross, but this is an ancient Roman and Greek idea and has no place in Christian thought. After all, Jesus intends to make THIS earth his kingdom and he plans on placing his throne on it.

If this were the only thing about slavery, I absolutely agree.

If someone wants to keep foreign people as slaves, they can do that in the foreign country. There's no need to bring them to the US.

In the Caribbean, they brought the slaves over because people were dying from malaria and other diseases in the heat.

(Hint: the slaves didn't survive much better.)
