Bonhoffer's argument is basically "If you disagree with me, you are stupid."

He is right about stupid people being the bane of everything, and right about the traits of stupid people, but he is dead wrong about NAZI supporters being stupid. NAZIs would never have come to power without the punitive Treaty of Versailles and the Weimar Republic's incompetence and degeneracy. After he became Chancellor, Hitler turned around Germany's economy at light speed. ANY right thinking German would have supported him. It was the British, not Hitler, who sucked the world into WWII, and Germans knew that.
