Indians? Whole other ball-game. Some of the messiest, nastiest, and demanding people you could encounter. They'd literally openly talk about how in their country tipping is an insult and that people would literally turn down tips because it would be insulting, as a way like to validate their reasoning for not wanting to tip, or even better yet, they'd tell you that they weren't going to tip you in the middle of the meal, before even getting their check, because they didn't do it in their country. Then they'd get all upset and start complaining when you'd just ignore their table and tend to your other customers who you expect to ACTUALLY tip.
They'd talk about their own country and their cultural practices there, yet, they came to America to make MORE money and make a livable wage, and then turn around and treat people like trash and act like they're still living in India as an excuse to never contribute to the system they're enjoying and benefitting from.
It's like "oh we didn't give the street vendors in India who made your food with their dirty hands in an unwashed street cart, so therefore I shouldn't tip the white gentleman serving me in a fine dining restaurant, which we don't even HAVE in India."

Do I believe that the teenage girl who walks your food from the expo-line to your table deserves 20% of a $12 burger? Fuck no. Are restaurants in America ever going to factor wages into menu prices to solve this problem? Fuck no.
