I think they weasel out of this by claiming "well actually, they only tatooed people at certain camps" alongside weaseling out of the incineration claims by claiming all the jews werent melted (which still begs the question of where the literal mountain of jewish bodies is hiding if it its real).

Yeah, last I heard the current tale is that the bulk of the six gorillan were killed piecemeal by einsatzgruppen death squads operating across Eastern Europe. But if that were the case, you'd expect eastern European construction workers to be stumbling across mass graves every few years.

Coincidentally, that area was part of the USSR from the war onward, and they werent exactly fond of letting people sniff around I would assume.
