It's fake. Why would he *actually* sell the console if he wasn't *actually* broke? Also, if she split over text, that would suggest they don't live together, so why sell the console if it could just be hidden in a closet when she visited? If they did live together, what was his excuse when he left for work and came back at the same time every day?
