The reason miscegenation there is specifically sinful is because it often resulted in the miscegenators adopting the false gods of the people they were misecegnating with and abandoning the True God. Its actually still a fundamental teaching of the Church that such "mixed marriages" are grievously sinful unless a Bishop permits it after reasonable consideration and the non-Catholic party promises to either convert or raise the kids in the Faith, but ever since (((Vatican II))) the Bishops have completely ignored it and allowed mixed marriages with practically no oversight. Its one of the reasons Catholicism has declined so rapidly, its become mixed with heresy as people essentially raise their kids outside the faith around heretics.

Its not *promoted* anywhere and its contrary to nature, but its also not sinful if the other race is Christian. But 99% of the time, interracial marriages are sinful because the other race isnt Christian.

Im not saying that miscegenation is a *good* thing (in fact, believe its a very bad thing because of how it denies the children their heritage), but if you arent an ancient israelite, its technically not sinful, though maybe theres some church teaching that was hidden in V2 that says it is. Of course, mixing with a non-Christian is *always* sinful, regardless of the race, but race-mixing among Christians isnt a sin, its so contrary to nature that the Church has never encouraged it and no one in their right mind would race mix anyway.

But that would be technically incorrect, sin is a very specific thing, its a crime against God, whereas race-mixing is contrary (but not directly against) nature, of course it *was* sinful for the ancient Israelites, because they were directly commanded not to, but im not sure if its sinful for non-israelites, but its so contrary to nature im not sure if anyone in their right mind *would* race-mix, meaning the race-mixing epidemic is more of a sign that people have literally gone insane.
