its always boggled my mind how these lefty looneys denounce sex-appeal in game because "muh wimminz" but with the same breath promote women whoring online themselves for a few shekels (if they're even lucky)

the really sane viewpoint is to acknowledge that those games are selling sex exactly the same way the real-life prostitutes do. "oh, but it's just a real, beautiful woman" is a completely invalid point - if anyone dressed like 2B and went around staying up on ladders for a really long time above a sidewalk full of people we'd call her both a lunatic and a whore, and if she had a father at home by the name of Yoko Taro who openly called for pornography of her to be drawn and sent to him we'd start thumping people with Bibles over the head.
it's time we re-learn the meaning of "decent" and start asking for that in women in media instead. Ashley from either RE4 rendition is fine, for example, because she neither pushes softcore pornography and horny-culture on anyone nor demoralizes the onlooker by being some sort of jewish creatura. but we don't have people saying "finally, a pretty, normal woman", we have people whining they took away the ability to look up her skirt. that to me says everything one needs to know about this "sex appeal in games" movement.
Yeah, theres a correct way to do attractive women and a coomer way. Proper clothing on a woman actually makes them more beautiful because it draws the focus away from the body and to the face. Doing attractive woman coomer style is literally a sleazy marketing tactic, your relying on manipulating people's biological reactions rather than going into the effort of creating a well rounded character.
