There seems to be lots of opportunities in growing cities.

Find a small city that has growth the last 3-5 years. Not long term growth, but new growth and development. Maybe a few new commercial employers or a port city or hub. Then just open any business. If the population is growing the demand will always be outpacing supply.

Going into business for yourself is better than slugging along for some big organization. However, even that has its advantages and disadvantages. Personally i like the private business route. You get so many tax write-offs and it surprises me what people are willing to pay for work.

I could make $1,000 a week just grinding stumps. LOL

Or if i had a tow truck i bet i could pull over a grand a week towing vehicles.

Say i just paved driveways. That's all i do. Pave driveways. I could make $2000+ per week once my schedule fills out.

Or maybe you just build fences. That's your specialty. Fences and decks. Or stone work. hardscaping.

Or roofing. Tree trimming. Windows and doors. Maybe you just pressure wash. Maybe you spray weed killer and lawn fertilizer out of a truck and charge $50 a pop at 10 stops per day.

Or you can repair bicycles. Bicycle repair shop. Dirt bike and motorcycle repair shop.

How about small engine repair? specialize in repairing chainsaws mowers tractors pressure washers etc

Cell phone repair. Just repair cell phones all day. $$$

exterior painting. Or surveillance camera and security install business. Or security gate installations.

There's thousands of ways to make money and work people need done. Maybe you install solar grid install setups at bargain prices. Or you could drill wells and make thousands of dollars if you can afford the big start up costs and licensing and permitting.

What do zoomers want? Disney or MSNBC to hire you? Fuck corporations. That's why we try to live off the grid, not consume corporate shit, produce as much of our own food clothes and shelter as possible without having to be in the capitalist rat race or agree to 40 hours slavery a week or be slaves to huge 30 year long loans.
