That said, young men need to work hard regardless. Yes ,maybe opportunities aren't as good now as in the past but you gotta stay sharp and on top of your game. Opportunity strikes when you least expect it and if you're drowning in apathy and lethargy you won't be poised to seize those opportunities.
So yes, things suck. You STILL need to get smart, work hard, stay in shape, hone your craft whatever it is, and stay in a mentally good place. Nihilism is gay. Doomerism is gay. Don't be gay.
