I've fucking had it with sites/stores that want you to "sign up" and or "create an account" with them just to buy their wares.

Fuck you. You have my address, you have my money... why do you want me to be on your gay little web 2.0 social platform, *"muh fuckin membership!"*

You can't just buy shit anymore. Everyone, even brick and mortar stores... *"Do you want to sign up for our rewards program?"*

No, mother fucker. I'd rather you sell me the ware at the cheapest price without having to jump through zoglandias social media/usury experiment.

Sell it to me! I have the shekels!

*"No, no, no... We want your money AND information now... so we can sell it later when we get in financial trouble... I mean, so you get (((deals)))."*

Further compounded is the B&M's unwillingness to compete, as half their stock isn't even inside their store anymore... *"Oh, we can order it online for you, lets just make an account!"*

Son of a bitch! NO! It's on the shelf, sell me that one! I want the display model!

*"Well, you see, our display models are actually manufactured and owned by a 3rd party company and they want all of them back when we stop selling the item...."*

Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!! FUCK YOU!

You know what really chaps my ass. The fact that everyone sells shit on Facebook Marketplace. The Interface is a disaster. The chat client is awful.

You try to sell some shit and you are bombarded with
"Is it still available" messages...

Selling and buying shit has become a joke.

Sure Craigslist was run by a prostitute addled whore, but still... at least it worked... sorta...

Don't get me started on the fucking search filters on Marketplace... Imagine searching for a car, from a certain year, with a very specific trim level and it starts recommending other years and other trim levels after it runs out of the actual results. The worst part is the the title description is so short and usually very unspecific that you have to click on a listing to even know what the fuck you are looking at.

And everyone who puts $123456789 as the price. It's like nobody takes the listing seriously, don't understand or don't care about the ability to search or how the buyer might wanna know about the product. It's not hard to make an ad for a product yet a majority of people on fakebook market place are brain dead.

My favorite is it flat out hides stuff. I did a search on my wifes phone and a search on her brothers for the SAME thing and some shit didnt even show up for each of them. Like what the actual fuck

A-B testing - they're running experiments like this all the time on their users. once they have the ability to decide what slice of data you can see, they're going to use it every single time to weasel out a little bit more about your behavior and personality, which is why they track _everything_

I get it. Their algorithms suck. Like just show me things with the words I searched

eBay was doing a similar thing. You'd search for a part number: 130 results with a sponsored one at the top for $50. Now sort by price low to high, no other filters: 25 results and the lowest priced one is now $65. What the fuck?

Pay cash and the machine still demands an answer about giving to charity.

When they ask about rewards, I tell them that I will get my reward in Heaven. Those that know me laugh the best.

Would you like to donate to put needy hamsters through college?

To confirm you *don’t* want to donate to starving african children, just pull the sandwich out of the cardboard cutout of the malnourished african girl.

Yeah they sell your info to advertisement kikes which is why your phone number and mail gets flooded with spam offers (and sometimes even JEET scams)

I don’t remember writing this post. But here I am reading my own words. “I just want to pay.” Sometimes, if it’s a guy (because women can’t take a single damn joke in America), I say “Shut up and take my money!” instead.

The alternative is extremely bad. If you use Guest checkout, your order can be lost and you'll have a hell of a time trying to prove you actually ordered something (without doing a chargeback). Oh well, just jew Amazon like I do.

Not all of these are shitty. Most are. My place has a sign up but it's an actual loyalty program that is just to say thank you for being a customer. We don't email text send shitty coupons or any of that. Shop small and ask them about their system.

Most are to gather info and sell it, but that's usually large places. You shouldn't be supporting large places anyways. Shop with your local white businesses and make situational decisions about their programs and if you want to be in them, and if you don't because it's shitty, maybe don't do business there.

The overhead on a building and employees is high. It costs money to have electricity and a person to talk to directly.

More importantly, it keeps money IN YOUR COMMUNITY. It gives your neighbor a job, who can then spend their money at your job. Buying online removed that economy .

Fucking digital coupons. Safeway in particular wants you to log into their shitty website and scroll for 10 minutes to get just 50¢ off food that's $4 more expensive than it should be--What a deal! How about when I go through self-checkout I don't scan the item at all?
