Because they are so fucking lost that even **in theory** they cannot accept the existence of true evil. Even in a scenario with literal demons, and not the "quirky misunderstood" demons. Evil, manipulative, psychopathic demons. They'll still say "But don't they have a crying child somewhere? Muh heckin minority!"
It says a lot about them, because it means that in actual reality, there is no bottom line for the evil they will tolerate in this world. Unless of course it ever actually directly, *physically* affects them, and not just their twitter likes and reddit karma.
It's this weak, feminine, society shattering retardation, similar to that of the "womens rights" movement. They'll call you an incel for saying women are too emotional and aren't fit to vote, until they get raped and killed by a Syrian rapefugee, because they wanted open borders on an emotional whim.
