The (((antifascists))) raised a stink about Frieren's demons because of the way they use words. A cornered demon may start crying for its mother, not because it had a mother or any affection for anything, but because it might make humans hesitate and give it another chance to live and murder.

The demons are all heartless psychopath predators who almost exclusively use language to manipulate the listeners. But they do understand meaning, just not feeling.

It's a little too on the (((nose))) for their tastes. And liberals use similar linguistic tactics.
