He says this to appeal to the masses. In fact all of the symbolic imagery and belief systems of the Nazi's were from Germanic paganism because even Hitler himself knew Christianity was cope.

probably going to catch some flak from this, but if true that's the main reason i cant fully appreciate the history of national socialist germany: its heathenous influences, even if most other things were on point
