Woe from Stone Choir recommended this episode years back on the history of magick going back to those Graeco-Egyptian papyri that's basically what led to jewish kabbalah.

Finally found an episode after they took it down after Woe recommended it because they didn't want to be associated with him. Ep 16-19 were the relevant ones (see description of the one below)

https://www.podchaser.com/podcasts/not-conformed-795062/episodes/episode-19-witchful-thinking-54408100

That led to a skinner video (they link some of his relevant clips in the podcast) where that user warns not to mess with these things in the comments.

Stormy Waters (rich young hedge fund guy) who's sometimes on Pete Q's show has messed with sigils and has promoted them, and has gotten into a lot of mystical stuff in his "Reality is not what you think" series, and he's claiming to be a Christian now.

Most of the information from that series on Pete's show is fairly legit, it's the proper metaphysical worldview (that mind precedes matter, our consciousness/souls aren't being produced by our brains), but the way this is all being presented over time has caused concern.

He at least warned how serious the dangers of astral projection were, as he talks about a demon that messed with him for months (I think it would pretend to be his dead brother or something and show up every time he looked in a mirror).

He said no one to do that as you can't control what you come across. And I agree as I used to experience dissociative states and one day came across something very evil and it started messing with me (giving me visions that I was in hell), didn't stop until I started getting into the Bible again.

I guess he's suggesting sigils aren't as dangerous as messing with binding spirits but I warned others in a group not to mess with any of it as this isn't a game and it's all real, and going to start being revealed to the public in the future I believe, doing so in a way trying to lead people away from Christ, and into this "exoteric/esoteric" false idea, basically the Mark Passio stuff claiming there's a secret hidden magick religion the elites tried to hide from you anon, just make the sigil anon.

I worry for the new age stuff rising up because the temptation is strong as crap once you realize it's real and effective and you have people trying to say it's no big deal.

There is no light side of it, it's all dark and dangerous aside from bowing the knee to Christ, through the Holy Spirit.

>and going to start being revealed to the public in the future I believe, doing so in a way trying to lead people away from Christ, and into this "exoteric/esoteric" false idea,

I think (((they))) are already trying, and I think they deliberately co-opted the boomer "Satanic Panic" phenomenon to take attention off the actual Occult activity that was going on (finders cult had CIA ties) and re-direct to harmless things like D&D (which was created by a Christian and based off another mythos created by a different Christian) in order to make Christians seem unhinged and out of touch, while at the same time making the occult same not as dangerous as it actually is (which is the true danger of stuff like Harry Potter becoming popular, since a good deal of normies cant distinguish fiction from reality and are dumb enough to start messing around in things they shouldnt be). The end result is occult stuff that is basically Kabbalah lite, like Wicca, becoming more normalized while Christianity is abandoned (in fact, I would argue actual Christians are a fringe minority, since most Churches are not preaching the gospel, but rather Holocaustianity). The issue is compounded by the fact that humans are biologically hard-wired to seek God, and if they cant find Him in the True Religion He established through His Son, they will turn to worshipping demons pretending to be gods, and will gobble up the false miracles produced by those demons in the same way they gobble up pseudo-scientific slop like anthropogenic climate change.

Leviticus 19:31: "Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God."

Deuteronomy 18:10-12: "There shall not be found among you anyone who... practices divination or tells fortunes or interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a medium, or a necromancer, or one who inquires of the dead, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the LORD."

Galatians 5:19-20: "The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions."

Revelation 21:8: "But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, **those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."**

"Once again I tricked Yaweh with a chicken!"

Mind makes everything. Everything or every thing. God is that which is not a thing. Him-what? Mind cannot lead you to God. Mind can only lead you to mind. But God can lead you to God.
Hallelujah.

I mean messing with demons is never a smart idea, it would be like an ant attempting to reason with a cruel child attempting to burn his nest with a magnifying glass.

Would be great to turn every refugee center and every migrant work place, mosque into a haunted area. 100% legal vigilantism.

If you were a spirit or ghost the temptation to mess with a retard that rapes dogs, goats and his own 2 years old to cope with having a small circumcised dick would just be too good to pass.

Magic ain't real. If you make some deal with some demon you don't get powers. The best you can hope for is that some other idiot who has made the same pact gives you a job. Essentially, 2 idiots have to make the same deal to make it seem real. It's a secret club, that's essentially it. You're never going to be casting fire balls and love spells.

I watched somewhere that witches that try to mess with Christians through astral projection and pacts with entities that those reciting the lords prayer were shielded.

I think the video I watched the witch had converted to Christianity after witnessing that over and over.

RE magic: There's real "magic" and there's false magic, just like there's a real God and false gods.

The issue is people understand that God wants your heart and soul in order to unlock his blessings, and God is going to take the "long route" to eliminate the underlying cause of your problems, while other gods just want your money and allegiance. People would rather pay for quick fixes rather than change.

All of the stuff that people do to substitute for God -- it's all magic. Psychology for instance.

In case you are wondering -- the "false" gods do exist, and they do have power. Moses was fighting them when he fought Pharaoh, Jesus had a "debate" with one of them while fasting in the wilderness, and Paul calls one of them the god of this world. The OT doesn't deny the existence of the other gods, but it does explain that those other gods are not to be worshiped. Those people among Israel who do worship them are to be put to death.

These gods still exist and they still have power today, but they are trying the "oh we don't exist we're just imaginary" route. Don't be fooled. You need to power of Christ to protect yourself from them and to overcome their wiles.

BTW -- the Greek word for gods is "demon". Now you know.

PS: "sorcery" is "pharmakeios" in Greek. Guess what other industry is "pharmakeios" in modern times?

Wrong. The Greek word for God is "Theos". The Greek word the Christians used for demon is "daimon". "Daimon" and "Theos" are not interchangeable and do not come close to meaning the same thing.

The concept of "god" in the old testament, often expressed as "el" or "elohim", can mean a variety of things, only some of the things comparable to the Greek gods. It can also mean mortal people in positions of authority, someone like a judge or a king. It also means spirits. It means powers. It's really quite a chore to try and figure out what the OT Hebrew words actually mean in various contexts. I recall reading a verse, I think it was in Exodus, where "elohim" is fighting "elohim" and then the English translation is something like "God fights the priests of Pharaoh" or something like that. I'll have to look it up again but the impression I got was "el" and "elohim" certainly DON'T mean God or god. It's an entirely different concept, which includes God and the other gods and a whole lot of other things.

The closest Greek concept to the OT concept of the other gods is "demon." Heck, even "angel" is pretty close for the guys that are friendly towards the "real" God.

Who is Jesus arguing with when he is fasting in the wilderness? Who did he cast out of the sick people? Where did those things come from and what were they called in the OT? Did you ever wonder why all of a sudden in the first century casting out demons is like the thing everyone does from time to time, when there's barely a mention of it before or after?

The Christian God is not the Greek god(s). You switch between Hebrew and Greek without regard for either. Not much of an argument.
The word used by Christians is "Theos". Not sure why this is difficult to understand.
Jesus casts out demons. The events happen in the NT, so I don't know what you're on about, except that it's a stupid and novel idea that you made up without any real knowledge of the source material, which is why I've never heard of it before.

No, the word used to describe Jesus in the New Testament by Paul is usually "Lord".

> not sure why this is difficult to understand

Because you've never studied it.

> it's a stupid and novel idea

I know, reading the Bible and trying to understand what the words actually mean is a stupid and novel idea. At least it has been ever since the protestants showed up and started worshiping the text as God.

No, it's because you like to make things up, like "the Greek word for gods is "demon".
This is stupid.

So cultists in the 300s made Greek and Roman Gods to be evil monsters. Got it.

The earliest preachers were calling the Greek gods angels (at least the "good" ones.) They were emphasizing that Jesus was a sort of super-god and that he had a Father which was super-duper God.

It's really interesting to dig into what they actually wrote and what it actually meant in the cultural context of their time. Pauls' witness to the Athenians is super interesting once you realize what the altar to the "unknown God" really was.

Did you know that Socrates and other ancient philosophers didn't worship the Greek pantheon? They though that stuff was fairy tales you tell simple-minded folk to keep them from murdering each other.
