This happened on May 3rd 2024.
The husband was found 300 meters away from the farm, wounds to his torso.
His wifes body was found in a septic tank.
Both their throats where slit.
Two suspects, Mohau Lebeko, and Motlalento Wolf, both bantu, where eventually arrested. The case was sent up to the high court in October 2024. Not sure what happened next. No updates since last year.
The motive was robbery, since a lot of money was taken, and it would appear the murderers where workers at the farm and where angry about their wages, which reminds me of the Euegene Terre'Blanche murder case.
