Yes but licenses should only be given to those who deserve them (also goes for men) and it shouldn't be expected that they get one. In general there's too many people driving and that needs to be addressed, but some women actually can drive alright and it can be useful (if you work a lot your wife can drive to the market or drive your kids to some social thing)

We have pretty strict requirements in much of northern Europe, and high cost too, which all works well to keep shitty drivers away from the road. The problem is that for some reason people from foreign countries who got their loicense in a box of cereal are allowed to drive on our roads too.
