Absolutely, in many cases it seems to be a general lack of social skills. Basically people who are isolated, and somehow get used to it. The plandemic lockdowns caused a massive increase in this form of autism among kids.
The human mind wasn't designed to live in isolation, eating chemicals and watching doomer propaganda all day long.
I've seen the genuine disease cured, by simply putting these people to work with frequent moral boosts, give them a meaningful purpose in life and the most dysfunctional individual can shine up and become the happiest person in no time.
Nazi Germany is another great example, much of the country ruined after the war, 50% unemployment and jews controlling everything. People must have been severely depressed and demoralized. Then Hitler showed up and gave everyone a meaningful purpose in life.

I wonder if the structure of the Education system itself isnt in part to blame, it prevents kids from engaging in natural play and forces them to sit and listen for hours on end, and I know I personally *hated it*. There wasnt any time to develop actual friendships in school, and after 8 hours a day of being forced to listen to lectures, I was always too tired to seek friends outside of it and just wanted to be away from people.
Definitely part of the plot, sitting still for so long and try to focus isn't easy. Kids need to go outside, into the forest and play with sticks, climb the trees, and taste a pine cone.
I suppose this problem is even worse in America were far more kids are being driven to school or taking the school bus there instead of walking or cycling to and from school.
Then instead of addressing this issue, it's all blamed on "autism", as if it's a disease coming out of nowhere, for absolutely no reason at all. Modern suburban schools look more like a warehouse with loading docks to pickup and drop of kids, no yard, just one big building that looks like a prison.
No natural lightning, poor ventilation, food is pure goyslop, and in there the kids are expected to concentrate the whole day. If there's a pizza joint or gas station nearby kids will go there to buy energy drinks and fast food.
Waldorf is pretty good tho, they only do 40 minute lectures than 10 minute breaks. Sadly the food is vegan, but you can bring meat from home and it's plenty of fresh vegetables and fruit, that combined with meat from home should make up a healthy diet for kids.
Problem is, kids who goes to Waldorf learns to think differently, they learn skills that are very useful if they're gonna live off grid out in the forest, or become a farmer. But those who become wage cucks in some office desk job typically fails miserably as they don't fit in and lack the "skill" of blind obedience.
I'm sure private schools in general are much better suited when it comes to any type of useful skill kids need to learn to become anything other than some obedient wage cuck, because that's basically what the public school system tries to shape kids into.
And those who fail elementary school end up in prison, were they do essentially the same thing they did in school, like some eternal punishment from hell.
My personal story reflects this. I was screwed up as a teen/young adult, then joined the Navy and had constant human interaction and purpose which "cured" me. I found a woman, got married, excelled at college, had kids... Then entered the corporate world and became isolated again. I would go days at a time without talking to someone (wife restared her job after 1 yr off to raise our first kid amd we were both too burnt out to talk to eachother.) After years of this my social anxiety, awkwardness, depression all came back. Now I'm working on fixing it again but I'm an old, beat up (but not beaten) man who knows my mind isn't as plastic as it once was.
Lifestyle is a huge factor in making socially retarded fools.
