If Ford was able to make good and cheap cars, and was boycotted by the elite (Jews) for this, can you imagine how much useful technology is hidden from us, and how much the high prices are artificial?

Or Volvo who made several innovations but left all the patents open because affordable safety is more important than making money. Sadly all companies with genuine good intentions lose to greedy jews in the long run. That's how (((capitalism))) was made, just another method to achieve the same end goal as (((communism))).

Car engines used to have cogs making them indestructible, until shclomo shekelstein figured out (((planned obsolesce))), first with chains (which ironically is the only good option we have today), then rubber belts and now we have fuckery like wet belts which reliably destroys the engine in just 5 years.

That's right. My mechanic told me that some his clients have old cars with 300.000 Km, and they are still fine. But new car owners are forced to replace cars at 100.000 Km.

By cogs you mean cogs that run valve timing?

Yep, to save cost, those were replaced with cheaper crap long ago.

When I had read on timing methods, gears were the best but loud for RPMs of gas motors.

Loud if poorly manufactured, as if cost were cut. Gears requires proper knowledge and good raw materials to make. Either way, loud or silent, they were very reliable.

 Kind of a shame really.

I do think technologies like overhead cam shafts would make cogs impractical on larger motors.
