It is fair to say foundational Christianity and modern Christianity are divergent, there is no denying practices and tolerances are practically alien to original Christianity -- but traditional Christianity WAS (and is) Judaism with extra steps. Jesus was taught the Talmud by John, spread Judaic ideologies and was martyred as a jew. The Bible recounts jewish legends like David. Christianity IS a branch of Judaism, that is undeniable. The exploitation of it was Jewish elites capitalizing on the vacuum between Western paganism and Rome. If you look at Christian influences and advisors to Rome at the turn towards Christianity, many jews ..with rules alleviating jews from persecution by Romans.

Yes and no, the Hebrew religion of the Old Testament is the foundation of Christianity, but that religion exists in opposition to modern Judaism (a term which didnt exist until after the Protestant Reformation, which was also heavily Judaized), which is merely a set of guidelines on how to *subvert* the Hebrew religion (which again, was never called Judaism)
>Jesus was taught the Talmud by John,
The Talmud didnt exist back then, the closest thing was the hypocritical teachings of the Pharisees, which Christ rejected
