That's why we hijack him.
He's taken over the Right wing zeitgeist by personifying memes. That leaves him extremely vulnerable to being manipulated by memes. Meme him into the Trump you want him to be and he might just shift that way.
You don't even have to acknowledge what he's actually doing, you can just create a whole cloth persona for the popular imagination (both sides) to fixate on.
