Grooming is when an adult has a sexual relationship with a young, naïve, impressionable child. Usually refers to child marriage in Muslim cultures where a girl is married as young as 3 years old. "Grooming" refers to how the adult basically raises the child bride because they have are separated from their parents. It is strongly associated with Stockholm syndrome and sexual abuse.
