I see these posts as dooming. I make about 100k a year. My wife doesn't work. We own a house and have children and 3 cars. Yes our parents helped us in ways other than cash,they aren't wealthy either, but that's not a bad thing like American media wants you to believe. Your dreams are achievable young ones.
You bought that house years ago and got a low interest rate. Guaranteed.
We got it in '23. The interest is actually higher than normal cause I had never filed taxes before. It's like 80% paid off though. It's 3 bed 2 ba and like 1400 sqft on 3 acres.
